Professional artist shares her experience and training by providing supportive instruction and critique in drawing and watercolor. She enjoys, helping others develop their artistic abilities is use of these media and by guiding the students’ ability to see as an artist sees. Ms. Greaf teaches for Babylon Arts Council, etc, and she offers private and small group lessons in her studio (requires use of stairs). She instructs outdoor workshops locally and in locations such as Block Island, Long Island Museum, Appledore Island, ME, and Paris. Students are adult beginners and continuing participants. Her studio offers a rich resource to support art discussions and creative challenges. She believes that talent is an interest that is deep enough to keep you working at your art without giving up if you are having difficultly “drawing a straight line”!

Studio 703, established in 1980, offers a rare chance to share and learn from talented artists. From fundamentals to advanced technique, Studio 703 offers drawing, painting, and specialty classes including painting on ceramics. In small group settings, students learn basic techniques with emphasis on composition and color theory. Painters can choose to work in oils, watercolors, and acrylics. For students applying to art school, the studio offers personalized portfolio classes and evaluation. Director Genia Galazka Neuschatz works in oil, watercolor, and acrylics. She also paints on ceramic tiles and vases. Paintings and ceramics for sale and commissioned work accepted.
