The Circle of Friends was started by an amazing woman named Ann Green. She lived in the area and wanted to improve the quality of life for her family. She started The Circle Of Friends to enhance the neighborhood. Her group adopted the two parks which were in ill repair, had the gazebo built and the front signs erected plus other accomplishments too numerous to list.
Ann Green has taught us many things, such as how one person can make a HUGE difference, and how we as neighbors can join together to make our part of the world a little cleaner, prettier, safer, and warmer. Reaching out to each other as neighbors is a very special thing

Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson
Long Island's Historic Seaport Port Jefferson is a historic ship-building village nestled at the far end of the harbor, past the big homes that dot the high-banked eastern bluff looking down over an orderly yet varied fleet lying at their moorings. Our Village is a visitor's dream, and one of the most picturesque of waterside villages to be found on Long Island.
Incorporated Village of Old Field

The Village of Old Field, incorporated in 1927, is home to approximately 975 residents. The Village, approximately 2.2 square miles in size, is bounded on the east by Conscience Bay, on the north by Long Island Sound, on the west by Smithtown Bay and on the south by West Meadow Road.
The Village is governed by a Mayor and four Trustees, all of whom are residents. We cordially invite all residents to actively participate in all aspects of Village governance and life.
