 My handmade pots are either hand "thrown" on a wheel or hand built using the slab construction method. I used brown stoneware clay and fire to 2350 degrees in a gas fired kiln. I make all my glazes and they are lead free and safe to use with food. My pottery is durable and maybe used in microwave and conventional ovens. It is dishwasher safe but as with other pottery it is not to be used on the stove top!
