Serving as an economic development and empowerment activity, WPI, a cottage industry of the Pt. Jefferson Food Pantry, utilizes the wonderful jewelry making skills of many of the women who are Pantry patrons. We work collaboratively in designing and making "wearable works of art". Profits are split 80% to the artisans and 20% to support pantry programs--a full circle of community spirit.

Currently we do not have a store location. The food pantry located at 1 Stony Hill Road in Pt. Jefferson provides food packages, toiletries, clothing and household items to low-income and poor residents in the Town of Brookhaven and neighboring communities. Plans are underway to renovate a small shed on pantry property where we will sell the jewelry one to two days a week and by appointment. Prices: $5 for earrings, $20-$35 for necklace sets.

We have only just started and we are growing every day.
