Lori and George are the owners of Lavender Fields in Port Jefferson.

Follow the progress of the owners as they make over this 1920's Craftsmen, Bungalow located in Port Jefferson. Many great projects are in progress right now and they all will be shared with you as they unfold. You will learn from their mistakes, see the before and after photos, view work in progress and will even be privy to their budget. Much of the work is being done by the home owners themselves.

Background: After looking at many homes Lori and George eventually found one they loved. They finally purchased their house in September 2004.The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an office/library, living room, dining room and kitchen. Although it was in move in condition it had not been restored properly.

Other than some minor work and gardening Lori and George did not start renovating until this year. They have great plans for their home and they hope you enjoy the information they share with you in the pages of their web site.
