The Madagascar Ankizy Fund (MAF) was founded in 1998 by paleontologists from Stony Brook University working in communities in northwestern Madagascar. Like many rural areas in Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world, these communities had no schools and no access to healthcare. The MAF was established to provide education and healthcare to Malagasy children ('ankizy' in the Malagasy language) living in remote areas. The MAF has successfully built two schools and has established several temporary clinics, staffed by Stony Brook University healthcare personnel.

The children of Madagascar need your help. Any donation can make a difference in the life of a Malagasy child. Donated funds go directly to education and healthcare, ensuring that children living in rural areas have the opportunity for a better life.
